Many companies are campaigning for a 'vision' much to all employees. What they said? "You think I think about it!". Instead of employees do not care about the vision of firms, but because the vision was not seen by employees. They are more motivated by something in the form of threats, both situations in the future, or a punishment. John P. Kotter (Harvard Business Review) suggests "Sense Establishing urgency" is the first step to drive change in an organization. By looking at the threats to competition and crisis, making them moved, prior to communicating the vision. Function vision is to provide direction, while the destitute encouraged to move.
